Fall Cocktail with Spicy Apple Chutney by Camella’s Kitchen

Move over pumpkin spice! Make room for Spicy Apple Chutney!

Camella’s Kitchen’s Spicy Apple Chutney tastes just as you imagine it. While I’m sure it’s delicious on chicken or fish, I thought it’d be fun to use it in a cocktail! The flavors of the chutney work really well with Tom Cat gin but I imagine it would work with other gins as well. Meet the Spicy Apple Tom Cat:

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Tom Cat Gin

  • 3/4 oz. simple syrup

  • 1/4 oz. Camella’s Kitchen Spicy Apple Chutney

  • 1/2 oz. lime juice

  • Apple slices and garam marsala, for garnish

Instructions:

Shake all ingredients in mixing tin and pour into glass already filled with ice. Garnish with apple slices and sprinkle with Garam Marsala to taste.

By the way, this Black-owned mother/daughter company is based in Prince George’s County, Maryland and its mission is to bring “the bold flavors of the Caribbean to the Washington, DC metro area and beyond. ” Support Camella’s Kitchen and give their herb blends, pepper sauces, and desserts a try!

Move over pumpkin spice! Make room for @camellaskitchen’s Spicy Apple Chutney!⁣ ⁣ I love that they’ve made this classically fall chutney with a spicy Caribbean flair. It transported me straight to Trinidad and Tobago, from where this mother/daughter duo originally hail. They now live in PG County and want to bring Caribbean flavors to this area and beyond. And if chutney isn’t your thing, they have pepper sauces, herb blends, and custom desserts too!⁣ ⁣ Click “Latest Post” at the link in my bio for this #gin cocktail recipe by @javierann. It’s delicious and if you close your eyes, you might be able to transport yourself too.😉⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #willdrinkfortravel #gifted #camellaskitchen #gincocktails #fallcocktails #caribbeancocktails #supportblackownedbusinesses #instacocktails #cocktailsofinstagram #happyhourathome
